Root Help porting rom to optimus m

I've been trying to port a rom to the optimus m for the last 2 days...i've searched and can't seem to find a definitive answer to what i need...i have bee able to get the rom to flash and boot on the device but can't seem to figure out what files need to be modified to make the rom metropcs instead of verizon...also it triggers a false heat temp reading causing the device to think its over heating even though it isn't. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated..

There is no set standard for porting to the Optimus M. Almost all our ROMs are made from scratch. The ones who helped port the CM7 ROM are your best bet at getting any help on the situation.

Yeah that's one sweet looking Rom. Optimus T though... That's GSM, gonna be a lot of work getting the radio working.

I would suggest trying to port a rom from another CDMA phone like the S or the V.

You should see about collaborating with reppard on his cm7 port. I know there are still things that need done and he is short on time.

I would suggest trying to port a rom from another CDMA phone like the S or the V.

Most roms do not change the radio because it is not included in the rom so the radio should stay the same. Just getting it to activate is going to be the tricky part. When I get around some broadband I will take a look at this rom. The radio should be one of the easiest things to fix!

that sounds great..if its not an inonvenience...if you figure something out could you maybe give me a few pointers on what you changed?..my main goal is trying to learn...there are better roms i'd like to try and port but i thought that something from a different optimus phone would be the easiest place to start from...and also maybe what you use to port the rom? right now i'm using dsixda kitchen...
