Root Help! PREVAIL STUCK on SAMSUNG LOGO?!?

My prevail is stuck on the samsung logo and wont go past. it usually is there for a few seconds but now it stays there for hours. Anything? I tried odin rooted and nothing. I dont have CWM either it wont go into that. Please help

edit: is is because i removed the sd card?
 
what rom are you using?
did you put the card back in?
no cwm? you had it?

what odin image did you try?

NO should I? i dont see what that does

YES, i was previously rooted and once it didnt work, im trying to get odin working

FF19 and EJ06 both rooted + cwm

I asked because if you were using a ROM with a data2ext kernel, it is needed to run the ROM... Answer one negated question two :o

when you open Odin, are you making sure all three files are from the intended folder? Odin remembers which folder you last used to select the .tar
Have you tried installing just cwm?
I'm sure you have a backup somewhere you could restore, provided you can get cwm back...

When you boot into recovery, is there nothing? Stock recovery? An Android flipping you off? (you see the last one, and you're in serious trouble, :D:D:D )

I can't boot into recovery. I hold down power + vol up and it shows SAMSUNG then shuts off. Please help
 
If I hold down Power + Vol up, the Samsung logo displays, then the logo goes away for like 5-10 seconds, then the Samsung logo comes back up and after another 5 seconds or so, I am in CWM!! Have to hold the buttons during the whole time.

Mayby your holding it to short and are impatient ;)

ill try that holding for a long time
 
I know exactly what this is, as my phone got bricked reading stl5 (instead of bml5)
I had airplane mode.
Decided to backup bml1 - bml 14 from another exact phone.
I was able to restore bml1 - bml5. Then all of a sudden samsung logo brick. My recovery dissapeared (assuming security check disables recovery and regular boot)

only download mode works, and using stock odins with phone,pda,boot tars doesn't make a difference.

Its bml5. also stl5. Both CANNOT be written to... Even though I wrote to bml5 while the phone was booted regularly and no problems.

I did all the restore and backing up through adb and cwm
