Thanks for the help guys. I went on a ROM binge this week and I've been going through 1 or 2 roms a day lol.
Since I know what ROMs I want or like now, I guess this thread is irrevelant. In that case, I'll just go OT and give a breakdown of the ROMs I tried in case anyone is interested
Android Revolution: Pretty much stock, not many tweaks, bloated, but you can use ROM cleaner. Sense 3.5/7.0.4 is pretty slow, but you get sense 3.5. Sense 3.0/6.3.3 is less bloated but doesn't have sense 3.5 wonders. It's not my favorite, but it's stable as a rock. Everything works 100% fine, no glitches at all. I'd say it's a good idea to just have a backup of this ROM with all your apps+ data installed in case you need to restore a stable rom.
Redemption [The Family]- formerly the collective. Tons of tweaks and customization. Some FC's, and video cam doesn't work, but mostly stable. But, it's ICS. Currently it's the only ROM that I keep coming back too. Battery isn't anything special, but whatever. I really, really like this one as a daily driver.
CM7.1- very stable, no Sense of course. Semi amazing battery- display uses around 7-8% an hour, in other words amazing (most Sense ROMS get you 15% an hour when fully tweaked). However, I had around 10% battery use an hour for cell radio (with juice defender), and another 7-8% of android system. So if you use your phone all the time, than CM7 is very battery efficient. If you're on standby more often than your using it, then you may have a problem. I recommend this for first ROM, since CM7 includes a lot of root features in the ROM. Screenshots, overclock, etc are all made into the rom. For anyone who's new to root, they might prefer this because you don't have to install 3rd party screen shot tools, or buy Set CPU. Nifty.
RcMix Energized v 4.0- Awesome ROM. Lots of awesome tweaks (rcmix tweaks), pretty decent battery life, around 200mb free when not in use (with A. Rev. you have around 100-50), looks pretty cool. However, it was really glitchy on my phone. Lots of random FC's and my phone randomly rebooted a lot. Don't let this stop you though, I think I was the only one who had this issue. Either way, I definitely recommend you to check this out.
Runny Xtreme Surprise- RcMix Energized, but with Sense 4 features (keyboard, navbar, and a few others). I also had random FC's on the same apps for this one. BTW: there's a link to a Sense 4 look a like skin for sense 3.5 (possibly 3.0). Definitely recommend you to download that, plenty of eye candy.
Ginger Sense 4- This is an interesting one. It uses HTC sense 3.5, but it's been modded so much that it uses a different launcher than the Sense one. This means you can't use Sense widgets, but all the apps are there (read as, I still get awesome HTC Sense camera). It's pretty light, around the same as RcMix. It's modded to look like Sense 4. I personally recommend using Runny Xtreme Surprise.
MIUI- It's ICS, but really heavily modified. You might not even recognize it. It's designed to emulate IOS. For those who like the look of IOS, but don't like it's limitations, I recommend this. I personally didn't like this ROM at all, but that's just me.
Too try: I'm downloading Coredroid right now, it sounds pretty similar to RcMix, but I'm hoping it'll solve my FC problems.
I want to try out Blackout ICS- it's sense 3.6 and ICS. The only issue is that Camera isn't working. In my case, camera is the only reason I can deal with HTC Sense's bloat. So until it's fixed.....
Ice Sense V- HTC sense 4.0 and ICS. Nice combo, still glitchy, but the least of all Sense 4/ICS ROMs.
TL;DR, get Redemption and enjoy ICS. If you want something more stable but slow, get Android Revolution. If you don't mind troubleshooting a little, get RCMix.
