Can someone tell me if there is a way to delete bookmarked pages that show up in the bookmarks widget? When launching it (the default widget with ics) it offers me two choices, local or my gmail account. I choose my email account and it popolates bookmarks I've made, but unwanted ones too. Any suggestions please?

It follows your "Bookmarks Bar" from Chrome exactly -- order and everything. Go into Chrome on a desktop (assuming you use Chrome) and tidy up the bookmarks in your Bookmarks Bar. Delete the ones you don't want, and put them in the order you want to see them in the widget.
If you don't use Chrome, I don't see why you would select the gmail account for which bookmarks populate. In that case, choose local.
