Root Help removing bloatware please...

I apologize in advance if this has been covered... I HAVE looked but have not come across it.

I have an ATT HTC Inspire. I have used Ace Hack to root the phone successfully and have really done nothing else. This is my first root and have absolutely no idea about it despite being only a few classes away from a bachelors degree in computer science.... (Guess they can't cover everything!) Anyways... I would like to remove the bloat items on the phone like blockbuster, att family map, live tv, etc. Though I would like to keep the att scanner if possible... not sure if all the att crap is linked? I am hoping someone can direct me to which files to remove or if there is another post covering this question, direct me to that post. Also, I have gotten apps in the past... decided I would not use again and uninstalled. However as I am looking in the file directory via pc I see files exist for some of these apps. Would it be alright to just delete these files via pc file manager as I have uninstalled them via the phone?

Thank you so much for your time and advice. I appreciate any help I can get!

there is ALOT of stuff you can delete and still have a perfectly fine, functional phone ;)

if you have used AAHK and are supercided, you may try the latest unbranded, sense 3.0 stock rom,or ARHD,wich is a custom rom based on it,if you truly do not want any of the att stuff on it.

i have run the stock 3.0 rom,and ARHD,and they are nice-minimal bloat,and good performance.

stock ruu: Shipped ROMs

ARHD: [ROM] Android Revolution HD 7.0.4 | High Quality & Performance | O/C | Legendary - xda-developers

if you happen to not like sense,"ice cold sandwich" is a really nice AOSP ice cream sandwich rom: [ROM]01-07-2012 | IceColdSandwich - 8.2 - AOKP | SUMMER EDITION - xda-developers

and there is also official cm7,and other cm7 based roms if you prefer AOSP gingerbread.

if you wish just delete things from your stock rom, make a backup, and then use titanium backup pro to freeze a few thigns at a time, then run the phone a few days. at that point you can delete them,or just leave them frozen.

doing just a few things at a time, over time, will let you unfreeze things if you experiecne prollems.

make backups along the way,so if it somehow gets really fudged up,you dont have to start over with your freezing :)
