Help Help - Replacement?

So, my HTC EVO has a screen issue. It's been there for a bit but its starting to really bug me. It's actually much worse than in the pic...but I was wondering if anyone can let me know if its covered under warranty. The screen has a spot that is like really bright.

Btw, I also have insurance through Sprint. My phone is rooted - will this matter?

If you didn't cause it yourself, It should be covered.


And if you bring it in, I'd flash a stock rom before you do.

The reps could be assholes and terminate your service.

Yep, that will be covered under warranty, unless there is any physical/water damage to the phone that would make the techs think that you caused it.

And yes, I also would suggest you flash a stock rom too. While rooting has nothing to do with a screen defect, it technically voids your warranty, and if you get a bad tech they will void it.
