Root Help Rooting and adding custom Rom to my lg Optimus

Ive had this phone for a while. But I've just decided to root it. I want to have the latest version of CM7 or at least the one with the least bugs. I've read the guide. but idont understand some of the directions. Id much rather have some live help then instruction. Plus i dont want to run the risk of bricking my phone...im on stock 2.2.1

The Gingerbreak.apk will not harm your phone in any way.
