Root help rooting gone wrong

Help
Rooted yesterday and did apps2sd, restored from mybackup but now keep getting

The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again Force Close
i can't get past this to do anything it just coes back, can anyone offer help or advice?

have you tried restarting the device? taking the battery out? did you wipe the system? what ROM are you using?
 
I have rerooted with the rom in the guide here and it seems to be ok now but uncertain i would risk doing it again

I had this happen quite a bit when I used MyBackUp. For me, the problem is MyBackUp and it's reinstallation of the apps.

What I did was to redo the process, but not have MyBackUp restore the apps. I manually installed each app (a pain, but afterward, you can use Titanium Backup, which seems to not have as many issues).

To be fair I've done three backups/restores with MyBackUp Free without a hitch. Everyones experience with it is different I guess.
