Hello, this is my first ever thread, so excuse my lack of knowledge.
I'm trying to root my Samsung Admire so I can rid off all of the annoying metropcs apps that come with the phone. I followed the instructions on the "[Root] One Click Root for Samsung Admire (SCH-R720) :: Windows/Mac/Linux :: 9/12/2011" page provided on this website. After downloading the samsung driver and openinng and running to root application for windows, my phone rebooted just as the script said it would, and that was it. I saw that 'super user' had not been added and when I went to download 'Titanium backup' in the app store, upon opening the app I was denied access because "My phone is not rooted". Why didn't the phone root? Did i do something wrong?
