Help rooting

Ok so I have a HTC senstation. I love it its amazing and I'm happy as with it. Now its unlocked but has a Telstra thing on startup anyways couple of questions

1. Is it worth rooting
2. Can I and should I do with the HTC dev boot unlocker if possible all info van be provided
3. Rate of bricks?
All help would.be great as I've rooted my Motorola xoom and old as HTC topaz so yeah

1. Who knows. Depends on how you want to use it. I would say yes.
2. That's one way to get started, it will wipe your phone though
3. Depends on the method, via HTCDev, zero

If you want to S-OFF (better) you would need to use Revolutionary or JupoauntBear, depending on the firmware version.

well said. just want to point out that htcdev unlock is neccessary for juopunutbear.

Actually it isn't, you can temp-root ICS now, which is enough for JPB.
