Root Help samsung captivate

Alright just recently rooted my samsung captivate and now when i need to check an email or go online by clicking data roaming it no longer works. anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or help me out?

What method did you use to "root"? What else did you do besides root the phone?

the way i rooted my phone was i just downloaded the proper drivers, put in the zip file and since my phone isnt able to reboot recovery on its own i did it through my cp and once rooted iv downloaded a set cpu app along with a few others and i also unlocked the ability for third party apps and downloaded a wireless tether app as well....

That's kind of vague. "along with a few others", etc. Could be SetCPU (known to cause issues), could be a glitch in one of those other steps. Hard to say.

alright well thanks ill just keep trying things until i fix it or until i have to unroot and restore my old settings and set up
