Help. SD card not recognised anymore

I recently used Gparted to add a partition to my 8gb sd card.
But now my htc dersire won't recognise the card anymore.
The card is ok as i've checked it in my laptop via a card reader.
I've even formatted it again in fat32 but still no joy.
Help
Any suggestions

i dont know if this is true or not but maybe you have experienced something called "usb brick",,

which literally means you have bricked your device usb function (prevent you to mount sdcard from your device etc),,

try googling it and youll find lots of link,,
