Root Help setting default dialer

I installed a new dialer app, except when i select a missed call in my drop down notifications it launches the system blur dialer, how can i change this?

Running GB 605 rooted
 
You can't. Any dialer app you get is just gonna show your dialer and contacts of that app. Things like your missed call screen, in-call screen, and outgoing/incoming call screens will show as your Roms default screens.

The only way to get a different look on your whole dialer is to flash a custom Rom that has the dialer, etc themed out.
