Help - SIM unlock

Anyone knows how to get the network unlock code for a Samsung galaxys6 from metro I switched from metro to att n I hv everything in line for att but I put att sim card in and it asks for network unlock code but metro apparently has no clue what they are doing I just keep getting the round around the customer service can't help they say I should have a metro unlock app but I don't they say take it to a service store but the closest is to far anyone knows the code or what else to do besides the store thanks

MetroPCS says they will unlock a phone after 90 days of service:

If you don't have the app contact MetroPCS Customer Service or visit a MetroPCS Corporate Store and request the unlock code for the phone. You must provide:

• The phone number of the handset you are unlocking
• The name on the account
• The account billing PIN
