If you've been stuck at the boot screen for several minutes then yes, pop the battery out and try flashing your 'gap' (I'm assuming you mean Google Apps) or start over with your nAndroid backup.
well i flashed the rom first then i rebooted then i flashed the battery mod and then rebooted but i when i was flashing the gapps i flashed it and flashed some other part of it without rebooting and that's how it got stuck on the boot screen. i hope it made sense to yal
So basically you flashed gapps along with something else? Sometimes that can cause problems such as this. Reflash the ROM, then reboot, then flash gapps by itself.
