Help Help syncing pics for my contact list?

only a few of my FB contacts are syncing pics to my phone. is there a better way to get pics attached to my contacts?
 
Go to accounts and sync and make sure facebook is set to sync. If that doesnt work you can manually sync them by going into "people" and link is at the top right
 
yea i ended up going into people and doing it manually. I did have it setup to sync my fb contacts but for some reason it was only doing it for about 1/3 of my friends? oh well... :)
 
It does seem like It takes a long ass time for some reason. I set the phone up Friday and It just synced 12 more contacts this morning.
 
what is the difference between regular facebook and facebook for HTC Sense? I see I have that option when I am sharing pictures. I also have the calendar pad app (which is way better than the one that comes on the phone)
One thing that happened when I got this phone was it sunk all the birthdays from my facebook to my calendar...grrrr!
 
facebook for sense is HTC integration into the OS. it gives you better features than just the facebook app. the facebook for sense will integrate your birthdays like you mentioned but you can also choose for the default calender not to show them.
 
To be honest, and maybe i'm missing something here, but I really don't care for the FB for HTC "friendstream" app. I actually liked the android app better. It seemed like an easier app to use, and it had all the fb options for the status page/msgs/friends/check-in/etc... :confused:
 
i would delete friendstream if i could but the phones dont like that and they dont sync properly so you generally have to leave it installed
 
I have an HTC Thunderbolt. The first one had facebook with htc sense. It was there when i was linking contacts. Now I have another Thunderbolt but I can not access the htc sense. When linking contacts all it says is all contacts and no facebook. If I look in my applications info folder htc sense is there but I can not do anything with it except force stop etc. And it seemed to me the first Thunderbolt with sense had better pictures when incoming caller id activated. Which is a hole other can of worms. Anybody got an idea how to get it back?
