Not sure, I can try... assuming that my straighttalk sim works in the spectrum.
I looked Spec ICS official kernel sources and found this code at oem_rapi_client.c:Not sure, I can try... assuming that my straighttalk sim works in the spectrum.
I looked Spec ICS official kernel sources and found this code at oem_rapi_client.c:
---
// mj.cha@lge.com 2011-08-22, changed PROG ID for using RPC between Kernel and MDM
#if defined (CONFIG_MACH_LGE_I_BOARD_LGU) || defined (CONFIG_MACH_LGE_I_BOARD_VZW)
#define OEM_RAPI_PROG 0x3000006B
#elif defined (CONFIG_MACH_LGE_I_BOARD_SKT) || defined (CONFIG_MACH_LGE_I_BOARD_ATNT) || defined (CONFIG_MACH_LGE_I_BOARD_DCM)
#define OEM_RAPI_PROG 0x3001006B //PROG ID of MDM
#else
#define OEM_RAPI_PROG 0x3000006B
#endif
----
As I understand first #ifdef for CDMA telecoms:
VZW - Verizon Wireless
LGU - LG Uplus
Second #ifdef for GSM(WCDMA/UMTS/HSDPA/etc):
ATNT - AT&T
SKT -SK Telecom
DCM - NTT Docomo
and OEM_RAPI_PROG related with qc_ril.
So if you will build one kernel with OEM_RAPI_PROG = 0x3001006B
MAYBE it would work with GSM.
P.S. I tried to use GSM sim-card without success. Card is readed and Sim-Toolkit appeared in application list. Then playing around build.prop w/o success too. Only "Searching network...".
No, this is linux kernel, pure C preprocessor code.Is that code python?
