Help HELP Tesco phone on O2 settings

Just picked up my wildfire today. Took out the Tesco sim inserted O2 sim. now the fun begins
1 it will dial out but won't receive calls
2. had a look at the settings / access point names and everthing looks locked to Tesco
Does this mean I have to get the phone unlocked. i thought Tesco was piggybacked onto O2 so thought settings would be the same.

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!
 
hmm i would have thought you would have to get it unlocked,
Similiar to T-mobile and Orange, they share network coverage but thats it, handsets are still technically locked to each brand.
 
your phone is locked to tesco i bought one as well from tesco but got an unlock code from mobileunlocked.co.uk. if you get a code from there. once its powered up and after the locked msg drag the screen upto enter the code. happy days :)
