Root Help To Partition My Connect

I'm curious on how to partition my device. I never have but I'm willing, so please someone help me out with that.

Partition in which definition , like reset? Or to seperate your space in different areas?
Like 1 GB for games apart , and then half a gigabyte for apps , and the rest for Job stuff?

If First one , That is easy if you have ROM Manager (With LG Connect)
Turn Off
Turn on HOLDING Volume DOWN
It says Factory Reset Mode or something
Click Power
Again (Like 1 click)
Then click Wipe Data (Remove your SD Card before you do this) and then it is wiped

If you want to separate your areas (uhhhh) , use Patitioner on the market , or use SD Partion , or just search Partition in the market and alot of apps that can help you

Sorry I am not so smart with partitioning as . I always use apps for that

Not sure about the Connect but the Esteem does not read partitioned sd cards. Sees them as damaged. Just food for thought.

If you partition using CWR youre gonna partition the internal and not your external sd card

Well can you take me step by step? I have a 2gb sd card

I partition mine using the mini tool partition home wizard, it's a free download. You of coarse need to save anything that needs saving because this will wipe your card. I make my second partition ext 4 & I don't bother with a swap. Then of coarse you need link2sd. I'm not trying to act like you don't get by saying this, I've just seen too many people just move an app to sd like normal & then say their second partition doesn't work. You have to use link2sd & then click on an app & click create link, do that & you will see you are linked to sd, it works on most widgets even. I just click my funnel at top and check movable & then go to the bottom and check batch select & then create link & I'm done. If a widget doesn't show up when I go to use it, I just move it back to phone.
