Root Help Trying to unlock

I've been working on this for two days but I'm getting to a dead end every time. I've downloaded SDK, Google 4 USB drivers and PDAnet.
I set it all up as the instructions say. When I run adb devices it shows my serial number. I put the NS into fastboot, plug it in, change to tools and run fastboot oem unlock and all I get is waiting for device.
I look on the device manager and I've got Android ADB Inteface under Android Phone. I've tried changing drivers in google_usb_drivers and there's no options there. I see an ini file but the device manager won't load it.
I've tried different USB ports, reloaded everything and it's the same every time. Waiting for Device.
It's driving me nuts....
Anyone have this problem??

I had exactly the same issue but managed to get it working.

All figured out. Seems this problem is not uncommon (searching the web) I just used a different computer and it all worked good.
Loaded in a new ROM, Kernel, Voodoo and a few other tricks and the NS is much nicer..
