Root Help! USB File Sharing on OSX Mountain Lion

For some reason, ever since upgrading to simon's jelly bean rom, I can't connect my phone as a disk drive onto my macbook. It'd always say "This disk you inserted was not readable by this computer," giving me the option of either ejecting it or ignoring it. When I hit the ignore button, it would just sit there and not do anything.

This never happened when I was on ICS. In fact, when I restored an ICS nandroid, I was able to connect to my pc as a disk drive. I THINK the only difference between the two roms is that with the ICS one, a window would pop up asking if I wanted to connect with charge only, as a disk drive, or with some sort of HTC sync program.

Please help! I've been trying to work it for HOURS nowww.

Not really a chance to find a solution to change it (under windows).
As i don't have a mac i don't have an idea. All you can do is search for driver or something like that.

I couldn't find a solution, but I guess it's not that big of a deal because I usually connect my phone to my Windows side. Thanks again o_splatterhand!

Google provides the MTP tool for the Mac -

Android.com

As of Mountain Lion, it depends on which Mac you have - it may or may not work. Thank Apple for that, it's 100% reliable with previous versions.
