Help help.used samsung sw upgrade tool froyo.did I brick my phone?

Downloaded the software upgrade tool from samsung to get froyo goodness on my epic 4g. Followed instructions exactly and it seems to be stuck at 63% and says updating do not disconnect. Also the phone screen is all green. Help please.

I have stock factory setup and windows 7. Maybe I should've waited for the ota?

Redownload the tool, pull your battery and try again.

If you've waitied 30 minutes or so and it hasn't moved then you have nothing to lose. Pull the battery and see if you can get into download mode to try again.

thanks.for the help...tried it again and it worked the 3rd time after i swapped out the usb cable. whew

Had the trouble yesterday... had to try about 5 different USB ports on my computer.... but I'm loving 2.2 for the most part now....

Just have to get new Samsung Desktop and Car apps....

and figure out how to stop google maps from starting when it wants to.

ok, i'm still getting a frozen phone!! HELP!! I have removed battery 3 times now. Got one incoming call, hung up, and phone is froze again!! What do i do??!!

as suggested above, redownload to make sure nothing is corrupted. otherwise, wait for the OTA....i would suggest you wait for the OTA since you are not having good luck with the manual method.
