Help: Using SNESoid

NexT2010

Lurker
I recently purchased a HTC Evo and want to start installing more applications. SNESoid and other emulators would be awsome to have on my phone I just dont know how to go about it. Is there a tutorial out there or maybe someone can explain it really good to me. Thanks in advance.

Install SNESoid
Download SNES Roms either on the computer (then move to phone) or on the phone directly
Open SNESoid
Select ROM
Enjoy

Another App I can highly recommend if you running the Emulators available on the market is ROMBuddy. Massive Catalogue of ROMS for various Emulators in an easy to use interface.

Thank you guys. It seems pretty overwhelming at first but it's really very simple. I got it working on the first try. I tried playing Super Mario World and it's sooooo hard using just the touch screen D-Pad. I'm going to make a post on the other Gaming forum to ask what games are easiest to play on touch screen phones using SNesoid.

Thanks again!

yeah i played a few classics and so far they aren't very fun using the touch screen.

some work just fine though.

If you really find this an integral and often used feature of your phone, the best thing to do would be to root and remove sense and get hold of the Wii Controller IME app. That would make your gaming life so much easier.

wiimote controller is the best, it's like your gaming on your old systems.

wiimote + classic controller = win
