Help Help w/ new larger SD card

I just bought an 8 gig card to replace the 2 gig card my Optimus V came with. I have some music (which I have copies of on my computer) and a few unimportant pictures on the original card. However, there appear to be some other files apparently having to do with the phone/operating system on the card.

Question: How do I migrate to the new card? I am not really worried about the music or pictures, but are there other apps or operating files I need to mover over? If so, how do I do it? Thanks.

what i did was copy everything on my old card to the new one. everything is working fine so far.

I just created a temp folder on 'puter copied every folder then put the new card in the phone and formatted it. Then mated it to the phone by taking a picture. Plugged the phone into 'puter then transferred what ever was missing from temp folder to the phone. Works great!
