Help HELP wife's EVO stopped charging!!

She tells me the phone was "acting funny" yesterday...reports a self shut off and restart...

she says she did a battery pull and all was fine during the ride home..the at 330 am the phone was screaming for a charge, so she got up and hooked it up to the USB charger on our computer...(my usual charge spot)...

in the AM we found a DEAD phone, no charge light, no power up..nothing...!

I will battery swap with my phone's charged battery and see what happens, but any other ideas in the mean time...??

Ok..so, I swapped the batteries, and her battery for mine, and it started right up...

I attached the charger to hers, and it charged no problem.

I put her battery in mine..and it started charging...

before swapping back, i uninstalled the SPRINT SUGGESTED (despite my protests after the fact) ATK they told her to install last week after a customer service call....I suspect this has something to do with her issues...but she has been having issues since finally downloading the latest update..(i still have not if you can believe it)...

swapped the batteries back and her phone is charging and starting up without issue.

once done, i think factory reset and prl/profile update may be in order....

I'm glad you got it working. I don't know why sprint tells their employess to install something on a customers phone, especially a task killer. Hopefully you got the problem fixed for good
