Help Help with a Dead Screen

Hello,

I recently turned on my Samsung Galaxy Y, only to find the screen dead.

It's gone black. I used Google, and it turns out some people have had similar issues, except that they could see the Samsung logo. That wasn't the case here. The phone's screen does not display a single thing at any time.

I'd appreciate some help with this.

You might have a defective phone. Perform a "reset" of the device to see if that could fix the problem.
