Root Help With A Rom Choice

Hey guys ive been using VillainRom since i rooted my phone and current running the latest 6.2.1 However i thought yesterday it would be worth trying out some different roms.

I tried Cronos Droid, but didnt see any difference at all.

Any1 actually recommend any roms and can give reasons why? At the moment VR is very quick, OCable, and has all the features i can want. (I know it seems stupid as to why i may want to move if i have everything, but feel like i may be missing something)

* could someone move this to the root section please
 
I have tried all the villain releases, currently using sensehero b4 its the best I have flashed yet
 
I've been using Cronos for about a week and found the battery a lot better than villain.

I think ill stick with Cronos until someone cooks one up from an official GSM release whenever that comes...
 
Wow i have no lag at all on VR. It took using the OC and adding the new kernel but have none at all. Hmm

I had a look at Cronos yesterday, just didnt see any difference to VR.
 
6.0 was the best 2.1 I've tried, I couldn't really fault it in any way. Then I upgraded (with only a dalvik-cache wipe) to 6.2. At first it was so slow it was literally unusable. But after a few reboots everything was back to 6.0 standards.
 
Id did a full wipe twice, maybe I was unlucky, and here is a list of a few of the issues

1) Select Phone widget, when selecting contact card from a name in the call history the phone proceded to hang for about 3 mins while it opened the contatct card

2) Whilst playing a game (Pocket Empires), incoming call, screen goes black and can not use any hard keys at all, phone just rings out.

3) Open main menu and the apps load up one at a time onto the menu screen
 
Oh and SeneHero runs without any CPU speed tweeks, I love the work Villain are doing this is just more stable for me
 
I can't recreate 1 or 3 (and I don't have the game to try 2).

Funny how different ROMs can react entirely differently for people even when they install in the same way =/

Like 5.5 for me was a complete disaster.
 
5.5 was fine for me. 6.2.1 has been amazing so far. Gonna try SuperHero and senseHero.

Which version of Sense are u using Jaffa?
 
5.5 is still my prefered Nandroid its pretty stable on my device, Im using B4 the latest Sensehero
 
Nope 5.5 is better than any of the 6's on my device, I have not needed to do a nandroid of this rom yet, Ill try it for a few days before I decide to replace Villain, but its looking good so far!
 
Saing that based on Xyro's comments I may give Villain v6 another try.. As I prefer the skin
 
I am using Raidroid_1.1 ROM for my HERO. It is great. till now, I haven't found any issue. It is fast and easy to install (Villian need to much fixes)

Been using Villain V6 (all versions) but had too much freezing and lag.
Using SenseHERO b4 and it seems to be running like a dream :)
VillainROM will always be the ROM of choice, but, just had too many problems with it recently.
 
Well from the comments i guess that as ive got 6.2.1 running sweet i shouldnt look around seeing as it seems to be the most complete rom. Runs smooth, fast, and have no problems. Plus seeing as VR have released it to the Kitchen it should be the latest build for a while
