Help Help with adding contact

I was told by my service provided that said LG told them that the moblie back up is not supported on my phone. How ever when add a contact to my phone it shows up on my T-Moblie acccount under my contact. But when i add a contact using the web app, it will not send the new contacts down. I just want to be able to add my contact, but do not what to have to add them all by my phone input. I used the beam feature from y other phone, and my android told me it was trying to connect, I allowed it and it said it send over the contact, but I can not find where it put it. Help

If you enter new info into Google Contacts, that info will be synced with your phone, and updates made to those contacts on the phone will find their way back to Google Contacts as well.

(I imported my Palm contacts to the phone by way of Google.)
