okay i connected it via usb and selected "disk mount" and when i go to my computer to find the drive, its there i assume under the name CD Drive(G:) but when i try to drag/drop things to it, it doesn't let me:confused:

no it tries to recognize it and then it says it couldn't find a drive. i installed some bootstrap thing that says its by verizon when i plugged in my phone... good/bad?

got it, restarted phone + comp and now its working. where do i put the songs? just in the general folder orrr?

Put 'em wherever you want.

Best practice though, is to make a folder called Music and put 'em in there.

Quick question (not tech savvy, sorry...ha ha) I just did the above, but now I'm thinking...how do I know if I just put all those songs onto the SD card in the Thunderbolt...vs the internal memory?

Anyway I can check to see (without taking out the battery, SD card, putting the SD card in the computer, etc) on the phone itself if the music is on the SD card and not on the phones internal memory? I've looked around in the phone, but don't see a way to see?

If the drive shows up as a 32 gig drive in your OS, then its the SD card. It it shows as 8 gig its internal. ;)

Thanks!

I also posted about 30 seconds to soon, because I just happened to stumble upon something right after I posted...when you have a song pulled up on the phone...hit Menu - More - Details while on a song, it actually tells you at the bottom of that list that it is on the SD card...yay! I was worried for nothing...:D
