So when i run it what do i do after?
You download it to PC, make sure your phone is mount to PC, then simply double click on the RUU and it will load onto your phone, let it do its thing, do not do anything until it says the process is done.

ok sounds good i got that but dont i need a recovery image just in case?
No, you are not rooting your phone, you are putting RUU back to factory with 2.1, then you will have to root from there after that

i am rooted right now...so i need to unroot first load the ruu then like u said root again?
Yes correct, since you will be starting from scratch, otherwise we have no clue where your at, flash the 2.1 RUU and you will be back at square one, then from there we will guide you through the root process again
