Lurker
Now i have done my fair bit of research and reading and this is my first time rooting a phone ever, so please some helpful comments.

i have a xperia x8 2.1, i have rooted it succesfully with superoneclick, and now have superuser on my phone. now i want to install app2sd onto my phone so i can free up some space on it.
1. i have moved adb.exe, adbwinapi.dll, and adbwinusbapi.dll to my system32 folder
2. i have partitioned my my sd card using mini home parition wizard, into 1 primary fat partition and 1 primary ext2 partition
3. i have extracted all the files from app2sd2.1.zip to the root of my sd card
4. i connect my phone with usb debugging on, and before i run dos, i unmount my sd card
5. i run adb shell succesfully in dos
6. then i type su
7. then i type sh /sdcard/app2sd.sh
now that last step is where i am stuck, after i type that command i get a app2sd.sh not found?

so i was thinking if i put the app2sd.sh onto my root folder, why would i unmount my sd card before running the dos commands, how would it find the app2sd.sh, if my card is unmounted? any help would be appreciated, as of now my phone has such low memory i can't even accept text messages. (btw i am following all instructions posted in the Faq stickies in this forum)
thanks for you time and effort

i wouldnt recommend emailing someone....as there is a possibility that they might point you in the wrong direction...either unknowingly or purposely...
the chances of that happening are low on a forum that is constantly moderated and has a large userbase that can point out if the information is faulty in any manner :)
