help with blu phone

since, we do not have a blu dash phone forum, i moved you to out general android phone forum.
so like with many android devices, you are at the mercy of your provider and manufacturer to allow any android updates......like going from gingerbread to ice cream sandwich.
just keep in mind that not all devices can be updated. for instance my orginal htc evo 4g officially will only get gingerbread. ics and jellybean will not come to it as they are a little too advanced for the phone to handle.....in the views of the htc and sprint.
however, i was able to root my phone and i can flash a ics or jb rom if i like. but they might be right as i feel like those roms are a bit sluggish.....but not all phones are meant to be rooted. some phones have no dev support and you need devs support so that you can flash their custom roms......as roms are phone specific.
