Help Help with Bluetooth Issues

Hello all,

I have the HTC One SV and the phone itself is pretty nice. I am having a major problem with bluetooth headsets, however, and it is driving me insane. I have tried 3 separate headsets and two of them echo like crazy for the person on the other end of the line. The third one is a Jawbone ERA and it doesnt echo but it sounds like I am in a tin can and its difficult to hear.

I called HTC and they just want me to factory reset the phone over and over. I have tried that and it doesn't do anything to help with the problem. I am on 4.0.4 and am wondering if anyone else ran into issues?

Is there a bluetooth protocol that will work better with the HTC One SV than the others?

well sorry for taking so long to respond. I have the HTC One SV also and I'm not experiencing the problems you are. I'm using LG Bluetooth headsets and they seem to work well.
 
I have the same complaint. Phone sent in to HTC twice (1st fix was to replace main board) but no fix....they said they are "working" on a software fix. :mad:
 
No problems at all with bluetooth here. Mine connects to everything. Computers, headsets, other phones, and my car. No problems whatsoever. No echo at all with car or headset either. :thumbup::D

Try updating to Jelly Bean the official update is out go to settings and system updates.
