It seems I'm facing the same problem. After i discovered the ICS i wanted to factory reset and upgrade it even if it meant losing root. Unfortunately I am new to this and even the rooting process is new to me (I completed with the help of a friend). Anyway so i did my first factory reset and ticked the check button for USB or Sd card. After that my samsung galaxy note went into an infinite reboot loop and won't turn on normally anymore. I have gone into recovery boot and wiped everything, I don't know how to flash or anything but when i went into recovery it showed me the CWM recovery not the official android one.
