Help Help with bricked droid x

Hi! I'm new to this droid scene and I have no idea what the terminology is for any of this stuff. So here goes. my friend gave me a droid X after he bricked it because he didnt have a back up file. now i am trying to unbrick it but Dont understand whats going on or what anyones talking about.
Here is what the screen says as soon as it turns on:
Bootloader
30.03
err:A5,70,00,1f
MeM_map blank
service REq'd
battery ok
ok to program
Transfer mode:
Usb

Can anyone help me get it back to OEM. Or even just get it working. Thank you!

I looked at the link you provided and downloaded the .320 sbf. but have no idea where i should start. can you explain where i should start. im not up to par wit these technical terms.

SO rsd lite wont recognize that my phone is connected to this. i followed instructions and it loads up to boot laoder but wont show on devices on rsd lite.

I've posted this elsewhere too, but all I'm getting after an attempt to install the new rubix rom and then re-installing apex 1.3.1 is the phone starts to boot animation, then I get an error saying "Process system is not responding" then an option to force close or wait, neither does anything. I obviously cant run the maderstock.zip file, so probably have to sbf? The file I have is VRZ_M8810_2.3.32_1FF_01.sbf. is that the right one. Also, I'm assuming I have to be on the "bootloader" screen that I get to by holding the power one, down sound button and the camera button?

Thanks, at least I got my phone back, but I rooted again (sucessfully after about a half hour) and when I tried to install a working recover file of apex 1.3.1 - at least it was working when I backed it up - I got the same system error. Fortunately, it did reboot into recovery and was able to recover with the maderstock zip file. I think I'm just going to stay unrooted, or at least not flash a rom............
