Help Help with Chrome on Galaxy Note 2

I'm the proud owner of a Galaxy Note 2 but have recently had issues with Chrome.

If i press the spanner to access "search tools", it wont let me change anything.

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to android forums . I went into my settings in chrome and im not seeing these setting selections .. Could you please explain a bit more in detail please if you could . Thank you and thanks for joining.

Hi Mysticspiral,

Its not in the settings option in Chrome.

If you open up the Chrome web browser, there is a spanner under the Google search bar which allows you to filter a search.

Mysteriously, mine wont allow me to change and filter a search.

I don't see anything like your describing either, both in Chrome & Chrome beta.

Post a screenshot so we can see what you're talking about.

Got it...

It doesn't work in mine either, unless I switch to desktop mode. Then I get the full set of filters.

Just very strange as it was working last week and haven't updated anything!!

They're making A LOT of changes to Chrome lately, maybe one had them take a step backwards.

You/we can let them know about the problem. Just go into Settings & at the bottom hit Report an issue.

Seems to work on my Note 2. Have you tried clearing the cache?

Thanks for your response but yes deleted cache etc.

Was only working last week too!
