Root help with chromium browser on incredible

i have the files from the official chromium website Index of /f/chromium/snapshots/chromium-rel-xp. i renamed it .apk and .jar i get to the app manager but i cant get it to install. im guessing its because it was made for windows but if i get the linux version will this work and what should i rename the file to. im guessing it wont work but its worth a try.

Won't work...android is linux based but it's system files are different. The installer package will try to install to places that don't exist. It's just like trying to install a linux program onto windows, or a mac to linux, similar but not the same
