Root Help with ClockwordMod

RootHappy

Lurker
I am highly annoyed by ClockwordMod. Last night, I made the mistake of flashing it and so it updated to the latest one - 5.0.2.0.

So now my phone won't go into Recovery. It goes into HBOOT but not into Recovery. It just sticks at the HTC Incredible white screen.

The only way to get the phone working is to remove the SD Card.

Can anyone help me downgrade ClockwordMod? I swear I won't ever try flashing it every again. Eeerrr...

Go into "rom manager" (download it for free from the market if you dont have it). Go into the options, check the option to erase recovery before flashing, go back to the main screen and flash clockwork recovery about 3 or 4 times.

Alternatively, head to http://pvillecomp.com and download the clockwork image (rename it to PB31IMG.zip ) and place the file onto the root of your SD card that is formatted to fat32 and install from hboot.
