everytime i make a backup and later want to restore it i keep getting a md5 mismatch


any idea why im getting these?

I don't know if this is your problem, but in the past I have had trouble restoring back ups when I have changed recovery programs or updated from older versions.

well the ns4g only has clockwork and i have never updated version. i actually thought the reason for this is that i needed to update to the lastest version.

when i backup i normally rename the files to something like july 9 CM7 backup


can that cause the issue?

yes this can that issue. just try a regular backup w/o changing the file name & it should work fine

I am using the same clockwork version, whats the difference between this version and say version 4. Is it reccommended that i update the clockwork version if i plan on flashing roms? thanks
