MY HTC one m8 is going through a seemingly random issue.
Upon turning on my phone I get to the screen to enter my password locking code the keyboard does not appear. Attempts to change the keyboard or to make emergency calls the OS crashes with the error message "com.andriod.phone has crashed". The phone goes through multiple error messages for other applications failing.
I did try rebooting mulitiple times but it won't fix it.
I then settled on going through a facotry reset but I'm not able do it. I watched a couple vids on how to do this but unable to acces the boot loader menu. I'm now convinced it's because the 'fast boot' option is selected although I'm not certain and unable to verify at this point.
I do have the device encrypted. Any advice?
