Root Help with Commando Reroot

I need some help with my Commando. I got the phone back in July and promptly rooted my phone using SuperOneClick with TitaniumPro, and Superuser installed. I froze all of the Bloatware such as Bing using Titanium. A month or so ago I went to use Titanium and is says "could not acquire root privileges" My phone was working alright so I didn't think too much about it.
Fast forward to today when I wanted to fix it. I noticed that my phone updated to 2.3.3. I;m assuming my phone is no longer "rooted"? I still have LauncerPro working which I thought was a root only app? Am I wrong?
I found the new method on here for rooting the 2.3.3 version via oneclick. I have attempted to do it several times unsuccessfully. It will either say waiting for device or "adb server our of date. Killing.. daemon started. Then nothing happens. I have tried multiple times following the instruction on the forum.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have no clue how my phone updated with all of those apps frozen. As you can tell I'm a bit of a Noob. Thanks for any help that you may supply.

I was able to follow the manual Command Prompt root process listed on this forum and I am happily rooted again. Thanks!

I think the problem is drivers for the DooMLoRD's one click, if anybody else runs into this problem, search your computer for the two dll's included in the zip, and replace the ones in the zipped file with the ones off your computer... I don't know why this happens, it's just a pain in the butt... (also, using linux doesn't give you this error )
