Help with contacts and facebook

I don't know what exactly happened because I wasn't playing around with settings much. But I had all my contacts/people synced with facebook. The picture would show up but their statuses wouldn't update. And now the picture doesn't show up on a contact, it's not linked with Facebook anymore and when I try to link it says I have no friends..?

First question: Why wouldn't my contact's statuses update?

Second question: How do I link my people/contacts to Facebook again?

I'm having the same problem with contacts..maybe they need to do an update because the link is broken. Start complaining to HTC and maybe they will get the ball rolling on this.

Same problem started for me yesterday. Found this on the support forum, apparently they are working on a fix right now.
