Help Help with Contacts

I need help. I just got my HTC Wildfire S. I accidentally deleted just about everything in my phone. So bad I had to do a factory reset. I had my contacts in my phone but when I went to put Facebook back on my phone I synced all my FB contacts into my People section. I couldn't add any contacts to my phone and when I figured out how to get rid of all my FB contacts my phone contacts disappeared. It wouldn't let me add contacts at all. Then I went hit my phone button to call someone and I found all my contacts. I tried putting them back into my People section and it won't let me. I cannot figure out how to get them there. Please help me. I don't like where they are now because they are in the same spot as my call history and it is just annoying. Please Help me!!!
