Root help with cyanogenmod 6.0.0

I'm going to guess you rooted with unrevoked, correct? You have two options:
1) Flash the eng bootloader: ENG bootloader (0.76 needed for CM6) extended fastboot commands. - xda-developers
2) Install CM 6.1 RC(I think it's 2 now). This, by all accounts, doesn't check for the eng bootloader. It's technically just a release candidate, but it sounds like it's just as stable.

another question where is the weather widget in this mode?

cyanogenmod RC2 its the only one i can install. im new on this. can somebody recomend a good mod to save battery life.thank you

If you're talking about the default weather widget, there's the News and Weather widget, from which you can select weather. Remeber, this is not sense UI, so the widget will look different. I personally use Beautiful Weather widgets.
Make sure you've flashed after a complete wipe (data + cache + dalvik). Others have reported battery drain without a full wipe. Download the "Super Power" app. It has lots of features that will save battery life by default. You can tinker around with this once you're familiar. Look at spare parts to see which app is using up resources/wake lock. Of course, all this is assuming you've seen this.
