Root help with CyanogenMod

i downloaded the newest CyanogenMod rom but it did not come with the android market i try downloading an apk but it wont work could someone tell me how to get the market?

You need to download the GAPPS and flash them as well. http://android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/gapps/gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip in order to get the market.

yeah i tried that too and it kept rebooting.

You are running either cm7 rc1 or cm7 nightly's correct? If so double check the md5 of the gapps and reflash. If it still boot loops, wipe cache, wipe davlik, and wipe data and reflash cm7 and then gapps and then reboot. If the doesn't work, hit up CDs nightly's forums.

After I flashed gapps, I still don't have the market place. Instead, my home screen displays "problem loading widget".

When you flash the gapps and after the first reboot, it should ask you which apps you want to install and the market should be on there.
