Hey all new to the forums and so i am really sorry if this has been discussed before, but i am wondering why my display use is 90% and slowly creeping up! I have animations off i am not using live wallpapers and i have got messages and weather as my wigets and 4 icons on the home screen and nothing else, when i got the phone yesterday it was at 40% with all the 'bog standard settings and a live wallpaper. I am confused and dnt really understand whats happening and how to reduce it and stop it from going up!! Please help. am feeling a little like the phone is to complicated for me and yet i love it!

The display usage wil always be high and be the biggest battery hog.
This is perfectly normal. It just means you are using your phone.

If it's ever low, it's only because your phone has been in sleep mode most of the day.

Well it had been on for most of the morning but i also worked out that everything working on it adds up to 100% so if you alot running then i guess the power would automatically be taken from the display to power the other apps/ tools etc. Now having made this statement i have no idea if this is actually the case or if it is just a coincidence. If someone could shed some light on that. :)

Ultimately it doesn't seem to have made a huge difference to the battery running out and since i only got it yesterday and so has only had one charge it could be that things have to settle in a bit more! I am no longer really concerned as it hasn't seemed to have caused any problems, lol i could be back later though saying different but crossing fingers not :D

You are correct. 90% of your battery used was by the screen. 10% of your battery used was other stuff.

It's always 100% and the percentage is distributed towards whatever had used the most.

So if in one hour your browsing the web and 90% us used on screen, then for the next three hours the screen is off, you will see the screen % go down
