Hello i ran the exe update from the Samsung website. Now it seems my phone is slower.I ran speed test a few times.speeds are slower now. I tried updating the prl.The same.I'm not rooted or anything,I really just want to get back to stock. Before the fl26 update.Just how it was out the box.Is there a way to do that without using Odin?Little scared of that.Like a exe? Many thanks for any help!:)

Wow I think you're the first person I seen on here that doesn't want jellybean at all I love the stock jellybean hasnt been anything but better than right out of the box for me

I also love the jellybean a clean install of it may be something you want to check out.
Here is a link to some stock roms ICS and JB .exe files.
Rwilco12's Android Repository - Downloads
I would guess that if you go back to ICS that virgin will pester you to update. I'm sure there are ways to avoid it but you'll have to look around to find out how

I want to downgrade from the Jelly Bean leak back to ICS, so I can install the legit Jelly Bean release. I wanted to know if all I needed was the ICS Odin installer. I grabbed it from Rwilco12's Android Repository. Thanks!

This is what you want to use to go back to ICS: [ROM][ODIN][TAR]SPH-D710VMUB FJ12 (FJ12 Modem/Kernel/ROM - Root/Stock)

But if you are downgrading to ICS just to install the Jellybean update, it would be much easier to install the GB28 One Click found here: http://www.sxtpdevelopers.com/showthread.php?t=190 This is not the leaked Jellybean (FL14) but it is in fact the official Jellybean (GB28):D

I wish I could downgrade, I've only had this phone for four days and I honestly think because I instantly upgraded right after I activated it I am having the worse problems. Per VM everything is green on their end but I am not getting text messages, barely able to use the internet. The files on that site, the links to ODIN or whatever doesn't work on the phone, I just get errors when trying

Wow, I haven't checked back in a while. So, quick question on that. Do I HAVE to downgrade to ICS to install the One-Click GB28? Or can I do it from the leaked FL14 without breaking anything?

No, you don't have to downgrade to ICS to install GB28. I believe you will be fine installing GB28 right over FL14. If you run into issues after the switch to GB28, you might want to wipe dalvik cache or do a factory reset. Although I don't think the latter will be necessary.

Thanks man, you're always a big help.

So in this case should I go for the NoData one or the Restore one?

You can try the NoData in an attempt to keep yourself from having to install your apps again. Since it's both jellybean you probably will be fine. If you run into issues then do a factory reset. My personal preference is I always like to start fresh when installing a new rom but you may be fine not doing so.

If you experience issues when changing roms, chances are a wipe of the caches (including dalvik) and/or factory reset will fix it.

Thanks. It's almost done, I guess we'll see. I went ahead and did a factory reset and dalvik wipe just to be sure, I already had all of my data and apps backed up.

I've got another question: On the link to everything, it mentions this: "If you need to clear NVRAM/Sprint data login info, perform a ##72786# reset from the Dialer and enter MSL.
Type getprop ril.MSL in adb shell or terminal to retrieve your MSL."

What does that mean? Should I do that?

You don't need to worry about that :)

Okay, just an update. I did what was said, using the One-Click to upgrade my FL14 to GB28. I've run into force closes, bad performance, battery issues, and my 4G keeps turning itself on and off, and won't stay off. I'm going to downgrade to ICS proper and upgrade through Kies to JB. Since I don't have a custom recovery, I can't wipe Dalvik from recovery, and can't find a way to do it outside of that. I've done factory resets, tried the NoData and the Full Restore one-clicks, and I've had the same issues. My phone is charging now so I can downgrade, so I'll be around if anyone has any advice on an easier way to fix this. Thanks guys.
