Help Help with downloading from Market

Hello Everybody, I recently purchased an Xperia X10 from Rogers. I connected to my wifii and try to get free apps. It shows as downloading for ever but nothing happens. Do I have to debrand my phone to use. Pls help. Thanks

Welcome to the X10 forum. I have moved your post to its own thread rather than tagging it on the bottom of an existing one. I hope the guys here will be able to help you out.

This was happening to me last night, I just restarted my phone and it worked. But if that doesn't work try doing a factory reset, and if you still have no luck, re-install the software using the SE software updater. Hope I helped

EDIT: Sometimes this happens when you have not registered a valid gmail account to your phone
