Help Help With Facebook App.

On my Blackberry Storm the FB notifications would bypass my email alert & go directly into the app itself, which would show a small star or something on the icon when I had a new message/post/request etc.

On the Dinc the notifications always go to my email account & the app icon will not alert me of anything. Is there a way to change this? Whats the point of the app icon if it never alerts you of anything?

Oh & while im on the subject.. If anyone is using Google Talk please let me know if you get any kind of icon notification when a new message is received. I do not.

There is a way to get an icon on google talk. Go into the setting menu on google talk and check "IM Notifications" It will show an icon in the status bar.

Yea Ive actually done that already & receive the status bar icon. I was just curious if there was a way to get a notification on the Gtalk icon itself.

Any idea on my facebook issue?
