Help Help with failed download

hey all.....ive been trying to download tango from the app store but after downloading it will not install saying error on file? WTF this is new......anyone else have this issue. i uninstalled all security software.

Does it specifically say "error on file?" If not, can you five the specific error? Also, what is the status of your phone? Rooted, changes to build.prop, etc.

All of these will help us determine exactly where the problem may lie.

Oh, by the way, have you tried re-downloading it? I assume you already have...

the phone is stock not rooted .the the file says "package file is invalid"
i did download it b4 but uninstalled it. cant even download skype i really dont know what da hell is up.
any suggestion ?

tango and skype installed correctly on my phone. hmm how about rebooting your phone. let it sit for a while then try again.

Ahhh...you installed it before, there is the issue. Skype doesn't always properly remove itself properly. You have to manually go in and find the Skype files and delete them from /system
